EarthQuakes and Weather Changes
52Is something happening?
As you have all probably heard, Haiti has had a 7.0 earthquake and from news reports, it doesn’t sound very good. A hospital has supposedly collapsed and communications are slowly coming in that the devastation is pretty bad. Reports from our military in Cuba say they felt the quake but everyone there is ok. Let’s all pray that nobody in Haiti is hurt or killed but things do not look good right now.
This story makes me wonder if the stories about “earth changes” have some merit. There have been those who have said that as we move closer to 2012 we will start seeing more climactic changes and more earthquakes and other phenomenon. While I do not really believe in 2012, I do think that there have been a large number of strange things happening that probably shouldn’t be happening. I believe that California just had an earthquake the other day. Luckily that one was not big and to my knowledge, nobody was hurt. Now we have this large and destructive one in Haiti.
Is it possible that something besides Earth itself is making these things happen? Some people say that there is a planet out there with a large elliptical orbit and it is now on its way back into the area. They say that as this planet or asteroid or whatever it is gets closer, the gravitational pull of this thing will cause issues on our planet. Could this be connected to this theory?
I am probably the last person on this planet that would believe in such a thing but then again, keeping an open mind is a great survival skill and without doing that, we would be doing ourselves a disservice. Even scientists are saying that we are going to be having some strange events taking place in the next couple years. Many scientists have said that we could have some serious trouble coming when (or if) we happen to have a pole shift which is supposed to happen. They also say that we are due to be hit by a disturbance from the sun and this could knock out the power, all communications, and everything else that we rely on. Basically it would knock us back to the 1800’s and we would have to repair everything that was damaged which could take years.
Is it insane to at least wonder about these things? What if these events happening now are indications of something bigger to come? While I am a very skeptical human being, I doubt that anyone can deny the fact that we are seeing more and more strange weather and geological events happening.

Whatever happened to the earth's climate being affected by climate change (NOT global warming), a giant hole in the ozone layer and ocean currents getting cooler in some places and warmer in the others? All of this stuff is intertwined and it's scary. More and more will come. But hey, if Jesus comes then I guess I have some grovelling to do.
Here's What I Know:
Something big is happening.
I have had this conversation with multiple people in my life, young and old, throughout the last year. It's in the air. People are noticing; you're not alone.
One person said, "The paradigm is shifting." Another said, "Etre fort pour etre utile" (to be strong in order to be useful). This person in particular has spent countless hours doing pull-ups on street signs, push-ups on park benches, and sprints down the streets of Clarksville, Tennessee. He feels it coming. He believes he's meant to be a warrior once the chaos emerges.
Without exception, we all have access to that nagging feeling that says, "Pay attention." We all have a choice -- to listen, to prepare our minds and bodies, or to continue on as if the current pace of the world is sustainable and good.
I urge you, whoever you are, to pay attention to your voice. Does it say you should be scared? Or calm? If you listen, you'll understand. Whatever is happening is not your fault, and it's not anybody's fault. It just is. The spirit of the Earth will not die. It will only change in a way that aligns it with beauty, love, and hope.
Above and beyond all the fear, all the hype, and all the rumors, everything will be alright. It will always be alright. Just listen, and I think you'll find the same.
Nothing is beyond God so go ahead with your normal business but keep some time for your God who has the answer for all your warries.

We tend to believe these disasters in the world today are very clearly foretold in the Bible. That very old book seems to be shedding its' Truth more and more each day. The Earth is acting as if it is in labor, giving birth . Thank you for your writings and may God Bless Haiti and its' people! Jesus must be coming soon.
